Common Questions from Parents

Is my 3-year-old too young for martial arts?

Not at all. Mini Tigers is specifically designed for ages 3–4. Classes are playful, structured, and age-appropriate. We meet every child where they are and make sure they have fun while learning.

What if my child is shy or won't leave my side?

Totally normal. Our instructors are trained to gently engage shy kids at their own pace. Most children warm up within the first few classes, and parents are always welcome to watch from the sideline.

How long are classes?

30 minutes, which is the perfect attention span for this age group. Short enough to stay focused, long enough to learn and have a blast.

Do they need a uniform?

For the first class, just dress them in comfortable clothes they can move in.

What's the next step after Mini Tigers?

When they're ready (usually around age 5), they move into our Tigers program with a smooth transition. They'll already know the routines, the instructors, and the culture — so it feels natural.

★★★★★
“The best thing we've ever found for our son. His confidence has grown exponentially in 3 months. He can't wait to get to LVLUP... it's a wonderful place. Full of kind, caring, and super fun staff.”
