Our DeForest studio at 7125 River Rd — the longtime martial arts home formerly known as Midwest Professional Karate — is now part of the LVLUP family, bringing a proven ATA Songahm Taekwondo curriculum, a bigger community across the Madison area, and events and tournaments to DeForest students. Day-to-day classes are led by Mr. Joey Zaworski ("Mr. Z"), a 4th-degree black belt and 4× ATA World Champion. What age can my child start, and what do you teach?
Children can start as young as 4 in our Tigers program. We teach ATA Songahm Taekwondo through age-specific classes: Tigers (4-7), Beginner and Kids Martial Arts (8+), Teens (13+), and Adult Martial Arts — plus an after-school program and Athlete Development (weapons & XMA). No prior experience is needed.
